Psychiatric Mental Health & Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Dr. LaSonya Davis is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in psychiatric mental health and women’s health with over 25 years of clinical experience. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from Western University of Health Sciences and completed her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certification at Duke University.
She specializes in trauma-informed, integrated care for diverse and underserved populations, with a strong focus on mental health, reproductive health, and chronic disease management. In addition to Psychiatric Mental Health, her clinical background encompasses experience in OB/GYN, family medicine, occupational medicine, transitional care, and community health. Her therapeutic philosophy centers on holistic, culturally responsive care grounded in evidence-based practices. This range of experience allows her to understand the complex interplay between trauma, mental health, and physical wellbeing, bringing a uniquely comprehensive perspective to treatment.
Dr. Davis’s approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy with medical expertise, creating treatment plans that support long-term outcomes for individuals facing both mental and physical health challenges.

Ricky J. Morris MSSL Morris Billing and Coding Services Administrator
Ricky Morris, a Army Special Forces Veteran, is the CHIS Chief Operations Officer and owner operator of Morris Billing and Coding Services. Mr. Morris is responsible for the day to day office management of both CHIS and Epiphany Psychiatric Care for Women, leveraging a strong academic foundation in engineering, strategic leadership, and specialized technical training to deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality information management solutions.
Mr. Morris’s formal education includes a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University, a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from DeVry University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Alabama A & M University, and an Undergraduate Certificate in Medical Billing and Coding from DeVry University.
